Shipbuilding is a complex affair, not least because of the huge size and engineering sophistication of the final product. That's even more true of warships, like SCNY Space combatants. SCNY builds the most advanced warships in the Cluster, and the company has made huge strides in the efficiency, cost-effectiveness and precision of its methods in the past decade or so. Here we'll give you a high-level overview of what we do, and why.

Design & Engineering

We've been leaders in naval shipbuilding for over 100 years, and that's right where we intend to stay. SCNY's is the undisputed leader in building surface combatants in Sinq L.

We've made huge changes in our construction methods in the past decade. With them have come revolutionary changes in our engineering and design. Sophisticated new Hologram overlay methods allowed us to develop the design for Bhaalgorn to a 'ready to build' level of completion. When full-rate production of the first ship began in June YC 116, the fabrication and assembly process for the ship had been tested to the extent that it will be 'built as a follow ship.'
